What should I do if I knocked out a tooth?
For a tooth that has been knocked out of your mouth, you want to keep the tooth moist. When possible you may be able to place the tooth back into the hole in the gum line gently. If this is not possible you can place the tooth into some milk and take it with you to the dentist. To help stop the bleeding you can lightly bite down on a teabag which is over the open socket the tooth came out of. Just do not swallow any fluid.
What to do if a child knocked a tooth out?
If this is a tooth that came out on its own it maybe something for the tooth fairy to help with. However, if the tooth was knocked out during a fall, or playing you want to save the tooth again keeping it moist, and get to a dentist as soon as possible. The dental professional will look to assure that the entire tooth came out and assist further as needed.
What do I do if I bit my tongue or lip?
You want to clean the area out with water. Then apply a clean cold compress. If the bleeding does not stop seek emergency care from a dentist or from your local emergency room if a dental professional is not available.
How do I treat a tooth ache?
